Default fuel line size with stock pump

ok i ripped my fuel line and i was thinking about upgrading to bigger lines because of future plans. now i was wondering how big i could go before my stock fuel pump wouldnt be able to flow enough ? like 6an or 8an ? and also how much hp could i support with the new line ?

Well in the new Dsport magazine there was a black civic that made 680+ with factory fuel line. -6an on a intank walbro 255lph would be fine.

Your pump & FPR control flow & pressure. Not the size of the line. If you put in a line that's too small it might limit flow, but if the line's too big it's merely a waste.

at some point the line will get too big and the fuel pump wont be able to pressurize it enough. for example, a garden hose, now you turn on a small hose and you get good pressure coming out, put on a really big hose and you dont really get any pressure coming out.

Lemme know after you pass a couple fluid mechanics courses.
