HELP!!!! car wont start
Went to start my car today and all it would do is turn over but not fire. A few days ago the tachometer started jumping from 0-8k when vtec engaged. Does anyone think it is the coil? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I would suspect the control module in the distributor before the coil. This is assuming that you are stock. Also make sure that the cap and rotor are good. They do wear. If there is a lot of reddish dust in the distributor-better think about replacing it as that can be a sign of bearing failure.
yeah I would bet it is your igniter. Pull the distributor apart. replace the igniter.
Your tach is run out of the distributor so that's why I would say that I am 99.99% sure that's your problem.
