The honda won't start. Please help
Hey guys.
Okay, well over the past couple of months it has happened maybe twice where my car would turn off while driving if I listened to *really* turned up my music (I have subs).
It was VERY isolated incidents and were very rare so I never paid attention to it. The car always just turned back on fine while I fired it up while driving.
Now, the other day it turned off whle I was listening ot music and now it won't start.
It cranks but won't turn over.
I tried boosting it so battery and alternator are fine.
It gets fuel for sure. There is no spark. I brought it a mechanic who was like "oh, it might be the distributor... 250 to put in a new one". SO I said no and took it back, bought a used distributor for 60 and just installed it and it sitll won't start.
Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks!
PS it's a 93 civic with 225k.

I had a similar problem with my EK. It was the Ignition Coil and Ignition Control Module which is inside the distributor. So that could have been the problem and the used distubutor could have the same way.
