Default INSIGHT Information Request

Looking for feedback from Insight owners. I currently love my 91 CRX Si and wont sell it, but tired of bumping my head on teh roof after hitting pot holes.

How well does the Insight take to custom audio systems, and what sort of performance can I expect compared to my CRX Si. What sort of custom dress up parts can we expect in the future perhaps. Not planning on racing the insight but am considering it for a daily driver. CRX goes to race mode only. If Honda made a vehicle that could handel towing of my CRX to the track would be nice.

Insights are neat. I drove one that came into the dealership once and it was pretty fun. It's very wierd when you come to a stop and the engine shuts down, then as sonn as you put it back in gear it starts back up. And th gas mileage is unbelievible. I was kinda like my 93 cx power wise. The gearing makes it feel quick. I have often considered getting one for a daily driver, too.

As for towing, the Pilot can tow upto 3500lbs. Also a very nice vehicle.
Also th e Honda SUT should be out by the end of '04 with a towing capacity of 5k!

I have an insight, there is an area in the hatch that is about 24in by18inby28in deep. the car kinda rides ruff (on roads with wipteedoos) the rear suspension is solid axle the only other thing i dont like is on roads that are really worn, with a high crown in the middle the car wants to go from left to right by itself due to the rear end being 4inches smaller track than the front.besides that i love it i plan on fixing those things,im soon going to be putting JDM k20 type R soon & make konis or some other shock work.

Ridgeline will tow 5,000 pounds pretty reliably...but not exactly quickly.
