converting a cable tranny to hydrolic??
I was thinking earlier would it be hard to actually convert a b16 cable tranny to hydrolic? All you would need is the bellhousing from the hydrolic b16 tranny right? Me and my friend are thinking of doing this. Gimme info........
hrm, good luck with that. im pretty sure some of the stuff won't be able to switch over, but im not completely sure.
here this will make your life much easier buy a hydro tranny and get this

I know about the kit. I can make it. it's not ****. I've already made one for a friend of mine. Just would rather keep it hydro.
the only transmission that i could fathom being able to be switched to a hydro case is either a YS1 LS tranny of a YS1 GSR tranny considering that you can use a ITR LSD in them and that they have the same input shaft diameter
i personally have the hasport kit in my car and i have mixed feelings with it
i love the fact that i can use a GSR YS1 tranny in my Sol but i hate the way the clutch engages. it has a tendancy to be inconsistent in pedal feel

of course if you have a 92-93 GSR tranny with big spline goodness, its easy to swap to a hydro case.
