what is the better tranny?
i am swapping an ls into a 94 civic. Its a b18a1, but i have no tranny. What will be the best. I have been told a b16 tranny, a ys1, and a regular ls that it came with.

Well it depends on the type of tranny you're going to use: hydrolic or cable. The B16 tranny (which came in hydro and cable) has quick gears and would be a much better choice over the Ls tranny. I may be mistaken, but I think that the Ys1 tranny has the same gearing at the B16 tranny, but is a cable tranny. Find out if you need a cable or hydro and go from there.
