I recently did a leakdown test on a mini me swap a6 block with z6 head, 180 all across the board except in cyl #2. and it oil smokes at idle...aslo the headgastket has been reused 3 times with a total of 100 miles on it...why is cyl 2 not getting 180. and why does it smoke when it idles??

possible reasons: bad headgasket(never reuse headgaskets imo), blown piston rings, etc... basically you need a rebuild.

 

a leak down test is given in % i think you ran compression...a leak down test you put air pressure to each cylinder and not crank the car over with a gauge in the spark plug hole....

If you have re-used the head gasket three times, it is no wonder that the compression test shows up low on a cylinder.

try sticking a new head gasket in.

 

or a nice nick in between would do that
