My driverside window just recently started to make loud noises. The sound is coming from the window motor for sure. I took the panel off to see what was wrong, but it seemed to be fine. It works the same but its just so damn loud and its getting annoying. It seems that its going to blow up on me or if something is broken in there. Will I need a new window motor? How much do they cost to replace it?

To those who have had this problem or know how to fix it, please help me.

I have the same problem on my 1996 LX accord. Everytime i press my alarm to open the locks it makes the noise on the driver side and when i turn off the engines for the locks to open. Maybe its a different problem but i think mine has something wrong with the locks. Its been like this since 1997 havent fixed it yet.

 

DDRnrgONxtc... you need new actuators, its been like that since 97? just get some aftermarket actuators and DIY replace them. They're around $15 a peice.

 

Try cleaning and lubing your run channels first. That usually helps because the motor doesn't have to work as hard.

prollt the motor. from 90 -97 all the window motors were slow as hell and made noises. the best trhing to do would be replace the motor or re-lube it.the same as the antenna's
