Default head swap?

how much more/less hp would this set up make me?
just a b16 head gsr block with gsr cams gsr tranny would that make more or less hp? i know the b16 head flows slightly better but it also lowers the compression when put on a gsr block to 9.8:1 somone help and tell me plz

Honestly there wouldn't be any real difference without fully building the engine. At this point it's just a hassle.

well im doing it just to get my car running good cause my gsr head the valves are bent so i was thinking just slap the b16 head on for now to get it running better but it should be the same?

It would make about the same power, but if anything makes more power I'd put my money on the GSR head.

yeah but if anything right now the b16 head would run better then my gsr head with tweaked valves

Now that we know your valves are bent, I'd say go for it. And send your stock head to RLZ so that they can port it to perfection.

yeah but swapping the b16 head over will make it run better then now, but it wont make it as fast huh?

It would be a good idea to put the B16 head on for now. When you do that, send the GSR head out for porting/polishing, put new valves in it, skunk2 springs/retainers, and big, fat cams in it.

Then put the GSR head back on and wonder why you didn't do this earlier.

Someone told me that a GSR head will increase HP a lot... At least in a crv engine. Would it sort of make up for the lack in high end power if I put the GSR head in? (I'm talking about an engine swap for a '99 hatchback).
