need help on how to wire up a oil press. guage?
When you say wiring diagram what are you asking for?
How to connect the light bulb?
How to connect the sensor?
Is the gauage electric or mechanical.

What brand gauge is it? If all you need is the wiring diagram, then it shouldn't matter what the gauge function is: oil pressure, boost, fuel pressure, etc... Or are you asking how to make the connections in the engine bay?
I don't know what the fuse box in a Civic looks like. But you can take an Ohm-Meter to some of the "blank" fuses in your fuse box to test for current. (Positive lead on "blank fuse", negative on a ground source.) I found fuse one that only has current whan the lights are on, perfect for a guage-bulb connection.
I have no insighta about electric -senders/gauges though.
Call Autometer, or check their site for downloadable instructions. These companies have customer service for a reason. . .

the red or positive wire goes to the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the block by the oil filter, the white wire if for ilummination and it goes to a wire that is hot when your lights are on, but only the lights. the black wire goes to a good ground.

If you find a blank fuse in your fusebox, how do you go about wiring into it? Do you have to take the entire fusebox out and run a wire into it and run it out from one of the harnesses?
You don't "remove" the whole fuse box.
That one space where a fuse could sit, but is absent. You connect a positive wire there, run that to your light bulb, and then connect the negative end from the light bulb to ground.
just need to find the correct "blank" fuse location. The one i found that has current only when the lights are ON is a spot for a larger fuse than the litthe 7.5 volt ones. It is shaped differently. i wish i could remember the number of it, but when you test for current you'll find it.
