Default d15b2 head gasket???

Im burning coolant and i put compressed air in the misfiring cylinder and it sounded like air was going out the exhaust. cylinder #3 has 30psi compression. what do you think?

i heard you can put a d16y7 head gasket on because its better.

30 psi sounds extremely low. the piston may be on the exhaust stroke which would explain the air leaving through the exhaust

you can use the y7 or y8 head gasket its thinner and will give you a little more compression than the si/dx one but the only place around here to get one is at the honda place and its crazy high so maybe advanced or autozone can get one near your place but i dunno (its not a big enough increase to really worry about it unless your trying to build a all motor d series)

there was a hole in the exhaust valve and the head gasket was demolished. i put on a new head and gasket and now it runs like new.

what about the z6 headgasket, I have a new one laying around and my d15b2 needs one, will it work? I would assume yes, but I want to be sure before i start pulling the motor apart
