Default p13 ecu remapped w/skunk program knock sensor ???

im running a 98 h22a in my 95 del sol with a skunk program on the p13. my ? is does the skunk program require that the knock sensor be used?? hcp did my harness conversion and added the knock sensor wire. thanks for any reliable help

I would just hook the ecu and see...

I'm not familar with that off the shelf program, usually we do custom programs to suit our customers cars. Sure fire way to tell is unplug a sensor, and see if you throw a CEL. It isn't uncommon for these aftermarket programs to disable critical sensor diagnostics, so you don't know when your engine is having a problem.
