Default CHECK THIS OUT -- the cure for sloppy honda motor mounts

go to a local autobody supply store that sells (Lord)Fusor products. ask for the
123 catalized seam sealer (about 30 dollars). remove the mounts you want to
be tighter (especially the rear), tape up one side, mix enough sealer to fill up
mount and pack it in (do this pretty quickly because it starts to set up within a few minutes). when finished let it dry about 2 hours before reinstalling. this will make the mounts stiff enough for drag racing but just soft enough so it will not vibrate
during daily driving.

The prothane inserts can't compare to this trick.

Any reason why you say it is better than the polyurethane inserts? I have the inserts, and they reduced wheelhop somewhat but didn't eliminate it. But damn, my car shakes, rattles, and buzzes really bad at idle, and is still a little buzzy once in motion.

Would filling the mounts with silicone be as effective at preventing the motor from moving around, while eliminating the transmission of vibrations into the car? If so I may consider doing that.

this is harder than silicone and will fill the entire void in the mount whereas the
motor mount inserts will not.

I dont know much about the mounts, so can you explain how to do this a little better? What do you mean by fill in the mounts and pack it in?

I like your idea but even if it works to its full potential we need to be able to mount our motors like the domestics to a motor plate resulting in no movement at all, see if you can think up a way to mount a b-series so it doesnt move and is attached to the frame rails through a plate.
