is there a write up on... mounts??
ok I've been looking at a couple threds n ppl have been talking about filling (or sumthing) their motor mounts on their accords to make them stronger??? what do you fill them with and how would I go about doing this??? I would like to strengthin my mounts before dropping the h in... what all is needed and what needs to be done??? ne one have pictures by chance??? thanx lots guys
ne one know what to search for?? should I look up motor mount inserts again or look up filling motor mounts??? I jus didnt know if there was like a set write up on it err not... I jus kinda wanna try it too. are racing mounts better or is this way just as good???
you go to NAPA, Autozone..and buy a tube of Polyurethane..then you take your mounts and duct tape on side..fill them full of polyurethane it's really goopy..let them dry for a week because jsut because it looks cured the insides are still soft and will potentally squeeze the Polyurethane out...then BAM solid motorounts..the stuffs 13 bucks a tube...you'll only need one...GL on your swap man
like where do I squeeze the poly into... I was jus curious if you had like a pic mabey.. jus to point it out to me... Im sorry for being a pain in the *** about it though...

Polyurethan can range in hardness from a soft gelly like material, to a bowling ball. The stuff you're looking for is 3M Window Weld.

94-97 CD Honda Accord 5th Generation F series motor mount kit for 5 spd cars. OEM replacement. Set of 3 mounts. Driver side, transmission and rear mount. We also have a kit for the Auto to 5 spd conversion. Must use Accord F series rear bracket.
