push start question...

Default push start question...

i have a 91 teg.. and i was wondering, can u jump a car by touching any wires from the push start button? or the only way is to turn on the ign key and then press it?

also where have u guys installed ur push start button?

i was thinkin of under my dash or somewhere where u cant see it just by lookin in..

i put one in a 96 civic, and i covered the whole radio opening plus little pocket with ABS. I then drilled a 1" hole and put an S2000 starter button in. You still need to key (for the time being anyhow) to start the car, because that powers the accessory and ignition lines. The starter only powers the starter line.
