Got the dealership for their money!!!
I just bought a 01 gsr...i put down 3K for selling my old 94 LS, so i ended up paying 9900 for the car. when i first got it, i got it with 56K on it. the first day i drove it home, i noticed the engine was "choking" on something while idling. I immediately took it back to the dealership b.c i had a 3K, 3 month warranty on the car and found that the head had a bent valve=(...Fortunantely, they told me that they were gonna rebuild the entire head with new OEM parts..then i also found tht the car had a bent controler arm and 2 bad front wheel bearings, got those replaced at no charge as well!!!! im basically happy now cuz i have a basically new head...and i didnt pay a fuckn dime...anything else i should look for since its still under warranty?? im sure they regret selling me the car cuz i cost them an additional 5 grand or more worth of work...they shouldn't have tried to sell me fcked up car anyways....

I am curious to know why all that stuff is bad. I have a 97 GSR with 100k and the only thing I have replace on it are radiator and thermostat. With all those problems it sound like it has the reliability of an American car.

I strongly agree! Not sure if you have the service I am suggesting where you live but if you do... Here in SA there is a service called Auto Lemon Detectors, they will actually drive to you and do a COMPLETE inspection of the car. It will take about an hour and write up all your bugs on a convenient little log....
