code 54, obd1 engine obd2 ecu
99 civic cx, 95 jdm b16, obd2 p72
Will a jdm obd 2 ecu ignore the ckf being non existent?
Anyone know how to get rid of the code 54? I am out of ideas. Any tricks as far as wiring the ckf plug into the distributor to trick the ecu?
It runs fine on the obd 1 ecu but I have to run the obd 2 to pass emissions.

CKF sensor has nothing to do with the distributor, its mounted on the oil pump. There is no way to fool the ECU to get rid of this code....you need a different ECU.
