Default Broke bolt off of exhaust manifold (88 lx-I)

Long story short I over-tightened the last of four nuts connecting the exhaust (not sure exactly what certain piece is called) to the exhaust manifold and broke off the stud. Luckily there is hardy any exhaust leak, no one has been able to tell so far so I think it will still pass inspection/emisions and whatknot.

(just to clarify the part I broke off was attached to the exhaust manifold)

Heh at first all I could think of is ....@!#!#!!!#$#@%.. But, friend of mines' dad told me that the studs are actually removable. I have no clue on how to go by doing this.

Any advice?

More than likely you'll need vice grips, when those break theres usually not enough thread left to try and double nut it.

You can buy one of those "broken bolt extractor bits" from Sears or someplace like that.
