Billowing blue smoke.. yay.
This is my first turbo project and everything is going good so far except,
When my car is warmed up I noticed that there was some blue smoke coming out (burning oil) well i press on the TB a little and cloud loads of blue smoke/oil comes out of the exhaust side of my turbo. I'm thinking it could be the seals on my T3 or too much oil is building up and is not being drained properly, I've tried a lot of things but the stupid crossmember on my 90 crx creates a kink on my oil return hose(its steel braided too) I don't think its the seals on my valves or my rings, because i had the turbo on then i got a stupid fix it ticket so I slapped my old header back on and got it tested, and no blue smoke. I am using 10w40 synthetic blend oil is this too thick or should I just use 30? Also Can anyone refer me to a site where they sell a seal kit for my aireasearch T3. I see a lot of rebuild kits on e-bay.. but i'm not sure if it has everything I need , it doesn't really look like it.
Thanks for your time

Fist off what size is your fee and drain need at most a 4an feed (I recomend 3an) and 1/2 id drain
You can get all the parts you need at the local hardware store of hydraulic store.
I have a 90 Integra so I know that crosmember is a bitch. What I did was bought 90 deg barb for the then we bent a long piece of 1/2 id stainless tubing in like a U shape that went around the downpipe and back to the oil pan and the tube was flaired with a fitting on the end that screwed to a like 1/2 fitting on the pan and it connected to the turbo by a short hose.
I know this is hard to picture but it worked and was relativly cheap. Just go to your local harware store and try to piece together something hardline will probably work better for you.
