For those that froze the tar with dry ice or some other substance, where did you get it? I had finished my trunk and rear seats, but the front tar is giving me some problems. Any help?

try going to a convenience store, or maybe a grocery store for some dry ice.

that really sucked. what i did was use a paint scraper/chisel and hit it with a hammer. takes off a strip about 1" wide or how ever wide the blade is. then i used Goobe gone with a rag and that got off the remainder of it. the dry ice idea sounds pretty good though. cause i rember i did mine around fall into winter and when it started getting colder outside it was easier to come off. i should have researched it more though. oh well im done.

if the dry ice isn't working out for you you can go get a big ice chest fill it with hot water and put the rest of the dry ice in the ice chest. makes a cool effect.

Im pretty sure it is more than 10 lbs. I have the plastic bag that Im still filling up, I'll weight it and post a pic of the scale weight. I'd say probably around 25 lbs. 30 at the most

even cooler is put just regular water in an empty gatorade bottle, about half way up, than drop a few chunks of dry ice in there. The pressure will build up and launch that suckah about 100 feet in the air if you get the proporions rigt. we filled a deer park water bottle, proportions were right, We watied for it to start shaking with pressure, than shot it with a pellet gun (real bright idea) Once it made a 2 foot wide 2 inch deep small crater in the grass COOL

Get a heat gun from a hobby shop and scrape it off.

try home insultation in the hollow space between the huge side interior panels.. they don't weigh much but it might help with the sound..

I some of my tar out. It weighs a lot. I really do believe if you took out all of it it'll weigh close to 20-30 lbs. The **** isn't light.

I never thought of an heat gun, but now I'm going to try that to finish the rest of my car.
