fuel gauge wont work
i have a 99 cluster in a 94 teg and the gas gauge is the only thing that doesnt work, w/o putting the stock cluster back in, anyone know the wires to jump it or someway to make it work ? i'm driving it across country in a couple days.... any help would be appreciated... thanks
The clusters should be the same but if possible and you have another Teg cluster I would test it first. If it does the same then it's probably safe to say that the problem lies in the wiring (sender to cluster) or the sender itself is bad. If you don't have another cluster to test with first I would go straight to the wiring/sender (with a DMM check for continuity from the sender wire at the gas tank to the cluster pinout for your fuel gauge reference) Good Luck
