Default cluster problem!

I recently purchased a 92 teg. the owner before had white face guages on it so i took them off cuz thats not my style, but now my gas needle is not workin it stays down.. is there a way to reset it, it was workin fine before! thanx guys!

You probably damaged it while uninstalling the faces. You can buy a replacement fuel gauge from the dealership.

are u serious i probably damaged it !!!!!! f***... do u know how much they run?.. or am i better off buying a used or jdm cluster?

Just found out for 90-93 Integras, you can't order each gauge separately from the dealer, only the whole cluster. In that case, you are better off buying a used cluster.

do you remember hitting it? I know the needles themselves are supposed to be very brittle but I dont know about the rest of the gauge.

When I bought my teg the gas gauge didnt work, the previous owner said it needed a new fuel sending unit, so $80 later and a couple hours of labor it still didnt work .. ended up being some wire went to the wrong pin in the cluster harness. Anyways even though that has nothing really to do with your problem, be careful not to blow your money on a part you dont need
