I am putting the TypeR front and rear lip on my car now. Should I use screws/bolts/3m tape etc??? What would you all suggest?

and those bolts that dont have a top, i think they are called carriage bolts. The ones that have a flush head

 

i use bolts and washers. what i do is drill a hole thru the lip and the bumper. i slip the bolt thru with a washer and tighten it down with a nut on the other side.

 

A few self-tapping screws worked for me. No tape needed. I tested it by liffting up the bumper while holding the lip, and i shook it rather violently for a good amount of time. No lip mounting failure was recorded.

Did you guys use the bolts/self tapping screws on the sides by the fender and underneath the lip in the middle?

Yes.

 

i just used two screws on the ends... it kinda hangs over the stock lip
