Default '01-'02 civic ?

is the engine "rotated" 90 degrees like a s2000 or 180 degrees like a RSX. also anyone know the chassis codes for the 01-02 civic coupe & sedan - when did honda 1st come out with the new civics, was it in '00? thanks in advance (I'm thinking of a possible engine swap from a RSX-S) if any of you have info the complications of this please feel free to fill me in. if anyone knows about the location of motor mounts in the 2 cars (ie same location in the civic and RSX) letme know

it is rotated 180, intake on the front, exhaust in the back....makes sense

the only reason the s2k engine is 90 degrees is that it is rear wheel drive.

I think its just the Si (hatch) with the rotated engine - I was out to lunch looking at Velocity (honda magazine) which had 5 tuner civics (coupes and sedans) and every one of them had the header in the front and the intake mani in the rear by the fire wall. Looks like this engine swap could be done a lot easier in a (si?)hatch w/rotated engine than in coupe or sedan (which is what I'm interested in)
