Re: RSX/Civic hybrid (CoffeCan)
the new si does not have the rsx engine.. they both have 2.0L engines, yes, but they are not the same. it's like saying the d16 is the same as the b16
also, rsx's engine rotates opposite direction from the civic now. dunno wut acura had in mind

Re: RSX/Civic hybrid (2000-4DRGSR)
Don't listen to everything you hear on the list. It's probably an easy swap. Both engines rotate the same way (2001+Civic and RSX that is).

I'm sure someone will find someway to do it. I'm sure we will be hearing about it in the not to distant future.

Though I would have to say the new Si is pretty ugly.

Re: RSX/Civic hybrid (civicman01')
You guys are thinking TOO hard!!
It doesn't matter which way the engine rotates. It's the way the engine is mounted in the engine bay. The 2001 Civics and the RSXs share the same mount points. Now since the new Si will have the RSX engine, that will be the mounts to use in the base Civics. Again, RSX motor, 02 Si mounts and brackets, 2001+ Civic chassis.

Re: RSX/Civic hybrid (NewYorkTypeR)
Ya I was thinking of just getting a Civic Coupe DX, junking the SOHC engine, and putting the -S engine in it's place. Would look nice with a body kit.
