Hello, I was wondering if anyone can give me some good advice on boosting my R.

I have a 92 civic CX with a JDM B18C R. I was thinking about boosting. How much boost can i run SAFELY on a stock block? Im planning to build the block, but not just yet. Let me know please! and what turbo kit works fine with this engine.

I would def reccomend lowering the compression with a thicker head gasket such as acometic or inline pro. I would def reccomend standalone such as hondata or aem ems. Its all about tuning. I plan on running 12 pounds on a stock block with just a thicker head gasket with a conservative tune. if you wanna be extra safe i would say to run 8-10pds. As for the turbo kit i would reccomend the rev hard stage 2 but you are better off parting togther a kit that would make more power and be the same price.
