i just acquired a pioneer 12 disc changer, i got the wiring for the FM Modulator and power and stuff down, but.. i have no idea where i should mount the changer or how to mount it... i tried to fit it underneath the front seats.. but.. it's a 12 disc.. and.. i guess it's too fat.. so.. i couldn't get it to fit under the seat or the glove compartment... i kno that people usually mount it on the deck.. but.. how to mount it on the deck? i have a 00 si... do i need a kit to mount it? or.. should i mount it to the right hand side of the trunk vertically... the corner right behind the taillights and above the exhaust?

 

I put my sony 10 disc changer on the right side of the trunk. I'm currently building a pocket for it so that it will be concealed when up. Will look nice. I don't like putting changers under seats because they get scratched up, kicked and sometimes get soaked from peoples wet feet. The glove box is where I was going to orginally put my changer however, I had to put my source selector there so I could switch between the mini-player and the changer.

I would just put it in the trunk.Fill the cd's before you go out and your set.
