I have this weird problem but i'm not sure what it is.

Recently, it has been bogging a lot. Sometimes when I get out of first gear, it bogs for a bit then goes on fine, then when i shift into 2nd, it bogs for a bit as well.

Is it the distributor? Do i need a new one?

when was the last tune-up done?
have you been racing? the t-belt could have slipped a tooth.

 

my plugs were misfiring...changed the wires and it was fixed.

 

happend to me too. replace the spark plugs, wires and distrubitor cap and rotor. Its simple maintenace that needs to be performaned.

i just had this problem on my teg and i replaced the cap...one of the posts on my cap were bent out and i have no idea why....put on new cap, plug wires and plugs and its been running great ever since.
