stripped bolt on d-series crower rod
I was taking my crower rods out of my old motor and ended up stripping one of the bolts. Is there anywhere I can get a replacement, or does arp sell a set of bolts that would work?? I wouldnt mind getting some arp's if they have the right size.
You need to either check if Crower for D series comes with 5/16" or 3/8" bolts.
I'll call them tmw and confirm and I'll tell you what size they comes with. My instict tell me that it is the 3/8"

You really need to check the threads inside of the rod and not just replace the bolt. The rod could be junk if the threads are bad inside it.
whats the best way to check the threads on the rod?? I dont think they are mess ed up because I didnt strip the threads, I stripped the head of the bolt.
