Default aftermarket radios

will replacing the factory radio in an s2000 with an aftermarket one affect the driver radio controls on the side??

yeah, but there is some stuff, if you want to sink in the effort, that allows you to still be able to use the controls on the dash board.

i put a new alpine deck and have my dash controls, i bought the LUCID plug thingy http://www.lucidautomotive.com

ugh....does it only work w/ sony decks...that what it says on the site. i saw that you said you have an alpine...but i get pioneers @ my work for cheap, sony too....but not a fan of sony. think it'll work w/ a pioneer?

Good find! I wanted to change the radio but was reluctant, due to the fact I didn't want to loose the radio adjusting function on the steering wheel. Ah now I can change it. Oh the joy.

I posted a new topic, but how do I plug my iPod into my stock head unit for the S2k '04...... I bought the attatchment for apple, and took it to best buy to get the RCA/mini to mini cables, but apparently they say that they havent seen a Honda besides the element that can support it or some garbage... Trying to learn some **** about cars-- please let me know what i should do and if it will work with the stock head unit...

im' pretty sure thats right on...because the element has a mini jack input ( i believe) not too many factory units do
