3in exhaust made big difference
wow is all i can say... turbo spools sooo much fast and higher. when i went to the dyno i couldnt make more then 318 @ 20 psi and we thought it was my timing along with my little 1.5 in test pipe lol..... well i checked my timing and it is dead on all marks are on TDC on timing belt side and according to the timing light i have the dizzy in the right spot. the motor runs fine no erratic idles and no bogging down runs perfect just was real slugish and slow boost.
changed out to full 3 in exhaust... i have a 2.5 in down pipeand then 3 in mandrel bent exhaust from there all the way back and it was like night and day. i had no idea that the jump to 3 in mandrel bent exhaust from 2.25 in crush bent midas piping would make lol. im sure that 1.5 in diameter test pipe wasnt helping either.
just wanted to share the news

havent got a chance to get retuned yet but i hope that this solves the problem... but i have one more issue....
when i take the crank pulley off i line the cams up at TDC and i look at the bottom sprocket that is behind the crank pully and that mark on it is lined up perfectly with the notch on the oil pump. from what i have learned that pretty much means that my timing is dead on as far as the timing belt is concerned.
well i put the crank pulley back on with the KEYWAY (nothing is damaged the crank pulley slides on perfectly and the little keyway is in perfect condition) and the little white mark on teh crank pully that is supposed to line up with the mark on the lowr timing cover is off it is phsically foward towards the radiator like 1/4 of an inch.
it doesnt make sense why the sprocket is lined up perfectly with the cams at TDC but the crank pulley is not. since i have disocvered this it has made trying to use a timing light a pain becasue noe i cant go by the little 3 red marks on teh pulley since it is going to be of now..
anyone kow what im talking about?

good im about to order a kteller set up for my car.. have have been running open downpipe for 4 mouths now and i finally got a ticket for it... so time to fix it...
i pick up 4" per hours at 1/4 from switchig to a 3" exhaust. i had the RSR on my delsol before. Huge different in mph, but i haven't put it back on a dyno yet.

I'm pretty sure he meant 20 psi... I had the same problem. I aslo switched to a 3" downpipe all the way back... I have yet to re-tune, but I'm sure it will make a big difference.
What's ur 1/4 mile time, I just completed my setup which is very similar to urs my last dyno run , @ 15psi on my B16 netted me 312whp , I just switched over to a full 3" exhaust also. I'm expecting @ 20 psi I should be around 370-400whp. Anyway what times r u running and r u times with the full interior of ur car.
i dont have any times yet im still getting things straightened out to go back to the dyno to get tuned again.
i am not runing full interior, my rear seats are gone and a roll cage in place now.
