Front or rear (it matters)? What's the biggest DIY job you've ever done?
Some people have the tools to do this stuff. We don't know YOUR level of experience... Have you ever taken off a drive axle? Taken off a steering knuckle?

I don't have a '96 so I don't know. But I just wanted to point out the missing information. My guess... the rotors have to come out.
In my '95 Integra there isn't enough clearance for the studs to come out the back of the hub. So the hub has to be pressed out of the wheel bearing. This usually destroys the bearing. If you like DIY but you don't have a press, you can take the steering knuckle assembly out & carry it to a shop. I'm guessing yours will be vaguely similar.
Hopefully someone with a '96 can say something???

you are going to have to take off the hub assembly, screw a lug nut on the stud and pound with a BFH.
but to answer your question: yes, it is a DIY project.

you need to take out the rotor, brack caliper and all that stuff mount on the steering knuckle.
if the stud are stripped really bad, just wack it hard enough with a rubberized hammer.
the installation of stud is pretty simple, just use the lug to drive the stud into the mounting plate(what is that thing called again?)
