replacing wheel stud Help!
Ok so I'm trying to replace my wheel stud cause the stupid shop cross threaded my axle nuts... I swear I'm never letting anyone work on my car again other than myself....
But anyways, I took the brake/rotors off and now I don't know what to do. I can't get the broken wheel stud off without taking off the spindle, but I hear that if I take the spindle off then I'll have to get a new wheel bearing pressed in when I do that.
So what do I do? Just take the whole steering knuckle to a mechanic and have them do it? or is this at all a possible DIY job?
Someone with some experience please help.
