rear seat removal
I started to remove my rear seats and got the bottom part off easy enough. I couldnt figure out how to get the back part off though! I pulled the tabs out from the carpet, but couldnt figure out how to remove the seat backs themselves. I didnt see any bolts to take out or anything...so what is the trick to getting the back of the rear seats off? Thanks
I saw the black plastic thing next to the sides of the car. Do you have to take that off completely? It looked like you could slide the seats out, but no luck yet
Pull the black clips(i called them "retainers") out first and then slide the seats out. They might feel a little tight but they will come out. You might want to push it from the back. that's how i always do it and it seems a bit easier than pulling.
PS: correct me if i'm wrong with my technical term "retainers" for the clips...
