I bought a crx with an unfinished sohc zc swap. There was no distributor, so i had to get one from a junkyard. On the wiring harness there are 2 round plugs, one with 7 wires and one with two. On the distributor there is one round plug with 2 wires, and a square plug with 5 wires. What distributor did I get? The 2 missing wires are the blue ones from the harness. Anyone know what those are for? Anybody have a picture of their Si dizzy? Thanks for any help.

 

Unfortunately you got a DX distributor. The Si one has the plugs that match the wiring harness. You can also use a HF one as well.

 

well you could just change a few wires..... the two missing blue go to the cam sensor.... well hell... i just realized you got a sohc.... these two wires go to the exhaust cam on mine..... where the cam angle sensor is..... you need a dizzy with all in one.... you dont have a external cam sensor on the sohc.... you will need a dizzy off of the si or hf..... they will be the only ones that work...take that **** back and get another..... on my dohc i can use either because i have a external cam sensor that i use on it... so.. if the dizzy had one inside it doesnot matter i dont use that one...... sorry very tired... i ramble...
