I have a 90 Civic STD with the D15B1, the previous owner did the MPFI swap and used a TD42U distributor. he said that he swapped the harnesses for that particular distributor (on the distributor side, not the harness side) So the Harness on the car has the small Round connector, and the Big Square connector... im on my 4th attempt at replacing this damn thing due to a misfire and a Code 4.. ive tried the ZC (TD42U) distributor, the wires weren't even close to the same and ive tried an A6 Distributor (current one) I have to use jump wires cause the connectors are not the same, I figured I just see if it would work and then worry about the clip part.. I have the wires matched up according to colors, but the car still wont start. it wants to, but no fire. I guess my question is this, is there a different wiring diagram between the ZC distributor and the A6? Do I need to swap a couple of the wires around? what the hell am I doing wrong?

never mind, I figured it out... didn't fix the issue, still runs like a piece of crap. Just going to run it while I save for a D16A6.
