Default Knock Sensor Code....

My Bro just picked up an 02 Si and his check engine light is on. We scanned it and it threw a code po325, which is the knock sensor. Would this keep his i-vtec from working correctly, I dont know anything about K-series engines so I am of no help, the only mods he has is an Injen cai. Also where is the knock sensor located. I know on his previous car ('92 prelude / jdm h-22) his knock sensor was screwed up and his V-tec would hesitate. He will probably take it to a dealer, but we live an hour away, so any help is appreciated.

I think you may have to remove the intake manifold to get to it.

hi, sorry to be a bother and to 'hijack your thread', but there seemsto be something wrong with my netscape... i can't post a question, cuz i can't select an icon for the topic...also, can't contact any moderators... would you mind terribly posting the following message for me?.. my e-mail address is con@pacific.net.sg...my ID is tundra.. thanks heaps! conrad

Subject should be : Go juice or No juice on an RSX auto

Hi all,

http://images.honda-tech.com/icon/1/wrench.gif

Been pondering this question as a cheap and effective power boost only when i need it.

A couple of back ground facts:

1. i live in Singapore, whic means most add ons are ILLEGAL..incl. exhaust,

turbos and definately nitrous...

2. i drive a 04 Integra IS auto (RSX auto)..

3. Petrol here cost about US$1 per litre.or US$3.80 per gallon...so thats a bit

expensive.

4. Engine swaps are illegal.

So, my choice would be nitrous, as long as i can REMOVE the system for the yearly inspections...so CAN I?

also, whats a good brand, diff between wet and dry?...and how much can i use on stock internals in a country that is 30deg-35deg all year round? (85-95 deg F) without blowing up the whole motor...BTW, the local guys stock the ZEX kit... butNO ONE has done it to an RSX before...or for that matter, any K20 engine...i guess, cuz no one wants to void the 3 yr waranty here.. but since mine is a jap import, my 1 yr waranty has already expired...

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!...https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

cheers!

conrad

There has to be a reason you cant post a topic, you need to keep trying to contact the moderators. Also, why does it matter what icon you pick. It is not a big deal which icon is posted. Try first just posting basic info without icons and such. I dont know, but it might be because you are still a trial user .
