ya as the title of this says, my car smokes when i decel. the smoke is white/blueish tint and smells like oil. it only does it during decel. my car has the b18c1 engine and a custom t3t4 turbo kit i put together. i am wondering if this is bad valve seals and where i could go to get some. that is the only problem my car has. if i could get some info i would be very happy.

 

I just got a damn brand new turbo and mine does it too, sometimes worse than other times, and sometimes not at all. I think its normal for a little smoke, but if you tune it and put it all together right it wont smoke at all. Was it a new turbo you bought, and how big are your oil feed and drain lines?

 

It will smoke like that if your valve seals are gone, have a leak down test done.

 

yes the turbo is brand new, and the oil lines are these http://www.homemadeturbo.com/f...15072 it is the t3t4 oil line kit.

How do you test the valve seals in a leakdown test?

 

what size oil feed and return are you using

 

Usually that is a sign of tired rings and/or out of round cylinders.
