Tire suggestion?
What do you care about?
Which is more important, handling or long life?
How important is price?
Do you care about how well they do in rain?
My advice:
If you care about a precise handling, nice gripping tire, and you also want it to do well in rain, and price is not a big concern, get the stock Bridgestone RE010 195/55-15 ($123/tire).
If you care about a nice gripping tire, and you don't care about performance in rain (like if you live in the desert Southwest), then get the Falken Azenis Sport 205/50-15. (Around $75/tire I think - but these will have the shortest treadlife of these three tires.)
If you are willing to live with a little less dry grip/handling, but you still want it to do well in rain, and price IS a big concern, then get the Yokohama AVS ES100 195/55-15 ($58/tire).

why does everyone say the AZenis are not good in the rain. I live in the PNW, where it rains a LOT and I haven't been on another tire BUT Azenis for the past year and LOVE them.
all Solo II season last year was on worn Azenis(90% of runs were in the rain) and was getting better times than people in my class on full tread AO32R's....
just avoid standing water and don't drive stupid

Being from Bellevue, I thought it rained A LOT in the PNW. But, the truth is that it's a constant drizzle and most roads have good drainage in the PNW.
On the eastcoast, when it rains, it POURS. Azenis don't stand a chance when it rains on the eastcoast.
I do not recommend Azenis for daily driving if you see rainy condition. Why risk, when there are better daily driving tires out there? (Ecsta, ES100, S-03, etc.)

I just put on a set of Kumho MX's 205 size on the stock rim, and so far they have been outstanding for dry and wet traction. I was particually impressed with the wet traction because they look and are marketed toward more of a maximum dry tire.

I wouldn't run ANY of these tires in snow.
You can find topics about winter tires, if you're looking for a recommendation for snow. This time of year, most folks aren't worried about that.
