how much boost from supercharger on a stock d16a6

Default supercharger questions?

hi im thinking about picking up a jackson racing supercharger and i would like to know how much boost i can run on a d16a6 with completly stock internals. and how much horspower could i produce???? thaks guys

6 lbs pulley or 8lbs with some good fuel management...

on the d16's the conecting rods are small and there known to break pritty easy even at 6lbs of boost they mite still break just so u dont put 1,000$ or more for a supercharger and risk blowing ur motor i would spend that money on building the motor with good 9:1 compression pistons and sone egal h beam rods then i will be able to have more boost than 6 i wouldnt recomend anymore than 6 lbs on a stock d16 on a daily driver

Don't listen to a closed minded, unfounded opinion such as this.

You can safely boost the 6 or 8 psi w/o problems on the stock block.
