is it true that all B-Series motors are compatible when doing an engine swap? like right now, im in an integra.. thats got like 104,xxx miles. ive been doing some research and like, ive thought about puttin a B20 engine in my car... rather than gettin another B18.

my question here is...

1) when swapping engines.. do u have to buy any extra harnesses?

2) when swapping engines... should u also swap tranny?

3) can u interchange the engine/tranny? if so.. what can be mixed or not mixed?

 

hmm id guess so if your using the B20, you must hate fi. if you might go fi, go with a ls/vtec or B16A or B18C1. and yes any B-series will fit in ur car. personaly, if i were you, just build up your current motor. and turbo it. ive seen 200,000 hondas being turboed.

you can interchange trannys, but i wouldnt.

Yea, bore to 81.5mm, forged pistons/rods with a VTEC head, slap on a turbo and you'll make some niceee numbers.
