Default Help!: How to Take Header Off

hey guys
i just got a nice header for my G3 Teg and ive found out that my header is rust and the bolts are very rust too.
Ive too all the bolts out of the old header but the last one pissed me off.. u know the oxyzen breathe tube, its SO TIGHT!! my friends and i tried to use wrench to take it off and it was useless,
we tried to unplug the the tube, no luck either

so anyone who knows or experienced how to unplug the tube or take the oxyzen tube off ? Please help me how to do it asap

thank you for your time and attention to the message

Chad

its Oxygen first of all.. and its the oxygen Sensor that your referring to..i took my rachet and put a long pipe on the end of it..and quickly enough it broke the seal and the o2 sensor unscrewed right off with a breeze

there is a little button you have to hold to unplug the harness. get a rotary tool and cut the botls off to get the headers out. use a wrench or even better a special tool for gettin oxygen sensors out. put a big breaker bar over the top. its not that difficult. it might be easier to do when the car / pipe is hot. just be careful not to burn yoruself.

i said start the car for a bit, the heat from the engine is the same thing as putting a torch to it but safer. you dont want to melt the wires off the sensor.

If you just run the engine the sensor will get hot and expand along with the manifold i.e. useless. If you want to use heat take a torch to the manifold around the outside of the O2 sensor but try not the heat the sensor much. As others have said though PB and a breaker bar should be enough.
Good luck

PB spray works wonders. I used it when I took off my header.
