DynoMax Super Turbo Muffler Question?!?!?!?!?!
I am turboin my b18 civic and im stuck as to which muffler to buy. I am gonna use 3in piping but i want a quite muffler. I found the dynomax super turbo muffler and it has an S shapped internal design. How much performance will this take away? I am willing to sacrifice a little horse for some quiteness. Any help on the performance?

I dont think that muffler will take away any HP.I seen a few tests and shootouts with it against other mufflers and it always does good. Its a quite muffler for 3" and personally,I think its the best sounding muffler out.

You probably wont get much replies. That muffler isnt popular with the import crowd at all, most run those noisy straight thru mufflers..I never seen another on a Honda besides mine.
nope, not at all,....just make sure you get the 3" one with offset outlet and inlet so the exhuast travels a true S thru it.

I didnt notice no power loss and I'll find out soon when I bring it to the track,Im gonna try it with a open downpipe vs full exhuast.

I have the super turbo on my 88 civic hatch too... I like the sound of it personally... I dunno if I got much power from it, but it sounds nice. very quiet at idle or when cruising, but have a nice tone to it when you step on it... I like it
