sound coming from underneath car
theres a sound coming from what sounds like underneath the car in the front... the sound souneded like it was something dragging on the ground or vibrating against something else but there is nothing anywhere close to be dragging on the ground... it only happens when i start in 1st and everytime i shift up a gear, and also if i give it a little gas while im in gear... i looked underneath and to the best of my knowledge nothing was loose could it be an axle problem or a tranny problem? i have had problems with my synchros but i just put in some gm synchromesh and that seemed to have gone away
anyone have any ideas? i know its kinda vague but idk what to look for... thanks in advance

well after some more looking around... it is probably the transmission or the clutch because it actually does it when i put the clutch in while just sitting in the driveway... anyone know? it sounds so bad it makes me not want to drive it because i dont want to screw anything up

ahh k cool, cause mine makes a nasty sound when i put my car into park and forget to lift my ebrake,, the tranny was supporting all the weight and grinds everytime i shift to drive.. horrible sound...
