i finally got all my stuff, situation is i can't get it tuned untill the end of april, i'm running the hack with 450s, and using the p30 out of my del sol vtec. i'm tryin to get ahold of a wideband to tune it for now, but what should i do about timing, i don't understand where people are getting these degrees from, i've got a light, and my motor is in time, but how should i retard it, and how much

 

oh i forgot, the reason i want to use the wide band is because i have the vafc set at -10 took it around the block and the plugs are still grey, should i just keep richining it up or is there an easire way to do it

 

?? i just want to retard it like 3 degrees, how do i know how many degrees i'm moving

are you using a timing light?

3 deg retarded at the distributor is gonna make the car run like Poo probably when you are off boost, but better safe than sorry..

 

holy **** man, this is from like 2 years ago...i had a cheap *** light at the time that wasn't a dial by degree style.

but thats all long sence gone, bigger turbo, aem ems, etc.....
