You wont have to do any wiring except for vtec and knock or iab. Just depends on the motor you get.

You will need a mount kit and shiftlinkage and axels for anything b series.

The best bang for the buk would be a mini-me swap:
A6 bottom end with the Y8 head. You'll make more hp/ tq than any stock
non-vtec B18

If you dont want a lot of hassle then just build on your current setup. Maybe some head work, a nice cam and bump the compression a little by either milling or using a thinner head gasket and some tuning. In fact search for some threads created by "b18c5-eh2" or "spade". They've created some pretty in-depth d-series threads. Like I said you got a good platform to work with, but if you dont see yourself being satisfied with what you have down the road(and no one ever is) then by all means shoot for something a little more intense.

If you properly do a swap the easyiest and most simple wire jobs are ZC and OBD 0 B16.
And just so you know you suck cause you have the only year and model I cant find(88 silver Si)
I found a 89 silver Si but gave it to the women and boosted it.

I'm sorry but I have a totally off the post question..... Looking at the pictures you posted, I noticed that your Coil wire is a little long.... What is it about 15 inches long? Aren't you worried about the resistance?
