The better question: Why would you want to? 1.7's are notoriously unreliable, and the A1 doesn't even have VTEC.

Having owned one, I would easily say you're better off with that experience. Putting the coil on plug setup on a D16Y8 would be a far better use of your time.

Possibly. I'm not familiar with all versions of the D-series.

If you want that coil pack look. You can do it without a swap.
I don't know what's involved but it's probably just a mater of money, time and a little know how.

okay well i'm going to reset this question
i'm new to the racing seen in general and really want to learn more
but i just started my own business and everything i earn is literally going back into it any ways
not floating in cash for rex.
my cuz has a 2003 4dr civic with a d17a1 and a 5spd trans with everything intake new fuel pump bla bla bla the whole car 110Km on it
will it fit in my 1991 honda crx base model d15b2??
autotrans.. and i want a 5spd and its only going to cost me 250can for the 2003 model
and a 5spd trans and pedals and the rest of the assembly off a car in the junk yard for a d15b2 it a cable is 600can
i have to buy a clutch and fly wheel for both not a big deal i was going to buy a rebuild kit for engine and trans any ways price for both is very similar on thous engines
i need to save money for a role cage
and harness, helmet, toe strap hook ups, better brakes ect ect
wheels, and rims for the race tires. in the end money doesnt matter but right now it does and i need practice on the track and i cant get it with the currant state of the rex so im hoping you guys can tell me which one will be faster??? and safer hahaha im work on getting her back on the road for my class b test
and of course i need turbo.. or i wont even have a chance on the track... but another day i will ask about about turbos
