the tach in my recently purchased 1990 B16 CRX Si dosen't work at all. it seems to me though that since the tach is electronic...(unlike the speedo) and since the rest of the guage cluster works that the tach should work. anyone know what the problem might be? also if the general prognosis is that the guage cluster is shot then does anyone have a spare 90-91 cluster for sale?

Its not getting a timing signal. I believe its the blue wire from the distro.

check for continuity and/or barrow a friends dist.

 

i just put a tach in my 89 civic si...i couldnt find the tach wire anywhere on the whole dang car... i eventually just took the cluster out( 2 screws) and tapes into the stock tachometer.
