PRIMER OVER PAINT
yes, but make sure the paint is sanded, cleaned and adherance is still strong.
If you paint over flaking loose, dirty paint, no matter how nice the paint you are putting on is, its only as good as the layers underneath it

also remember that primer is not meant to tolerate the weather and exposure.
It will break down real fast, so dont drive with primer on... it should be top coated right away..
...unless you dont care.

yeah because i sanded small spots where rust was, and when im gonna spray the primer on it'll go over some of the paint that hasnt been sanded because the rust spots were not big at all..also has anyone put on factory paint touchup paint..does it match as good as they say..my car's a 95 i dont know if both paints will match real well or not.
how much would it cost to have my whole car painted, and a good paint job, but i dont want to spend a whole lot of money, but i know someone who can paint it, how much would the factory paint be to paint a whole car, as well as primer?
