Default what do you think about the aem C2di ignition system???

hey guys...
what do you think about the aem C2di ignition system???
I´ve got the AEM Ems and the AEM wideband controller. Now I´m thinking about to buy this ignition system. Please tell me your experiences with this system.
Maybe the MSD systems are better.. What would you recommend??
Thanx for your help

I've got the same setup as you. I think i'm gonna pick it up and run the 929 coil conversion with it

No, you still need the crank sensor in there unless you run an auxilary one. You can remove the coil and ICM from the distributor though. I have my 929 coils and wires and I'm waiting to find a MSD DIS-2 on ebay.

Just to let everyone know to switch to individual coils you must have a computer that will support for ignition outputs the stock computer will not do this. Also you can use a four channel and just use one of the channels to wire it in like a MSD and still use the stock distributor and coil.

Some people bolt an external TDC sensor to a cam gear or crank pulley. Other people use the CAS on OBDII cars as the sensor. I think the factory one is fine and I'm going to use that one. I wanted the bling effect of a cam plug where the distributor goes, but the lack of plug wires will have to suffice.

My tuner told me i can use the Motec Ignition Expander with the stock ECU/Power FC to trigger up to 8 coils. Anyone ever tried this?
